Requirements
This course is financed through the active employment policies program Guarantee of Employability of Workers (GOL).
To access this free course you must:
Be between 16 and 64 years old.
Don’t have a job.
Have residence or domicile in Lombardy.
Not having previously activated a path of active employment policies (GOL or DUL dowry).
It is preferable to have a basic knowledge of the Italian language.
Module 1
Understand the role of a sales associate and their daily tasks.
Use simple phrases to greet and welcome customers.
Ask for and provide basic information (price, availability, size, color).
Handle brief, polite conversations.
Politeness and modal verbs (use of “would,” “could,” and “may”) for requests and offers.
Module 2
Describe the products (material, color, price, size, style) and learn the adjectives needed to describe them.
Use comparatives and superlatives to compare products.
Numbers and Prices: Practice reading prices correctly.
Handling a simple sale.
Understanding the terms related to discounts and promotions.
Module 3
Ask specific questions to identify the customer’s needs.
Recommend products based on the customer’s needs and requests.
Standard phrases regarding payment methods.
Grammar and Useful Phrases – At the Cash Register
Basics of Tax-Free Shopping for International Customers.
Module 4
Basic Techniques for Upselling and Cross-Selling.
Handle complaints, returns, and refunds professionally.
Respond to the most common complaints in a polite and straightforward manner.
Offer standard or alternative solutions (replacement, refund).
Role-playing scenarios: Reinforce all skills through realistic simulations.
Final exam.
