The basic level of this course is aimed at those who are approaching the English language for the first time, or at those who want to consolidate their basic knowledge. The intermediate level, however, is aimed at those who already have a solid knowledge of basic English and intend to deepen their knowledge of the language for professional purposes, enriching their vocabulary relating to the world of work.

Requirements
This course is financed through the active employment policies program Guarantee of Employability of Workers (GOL).
To access this free course you must:
Be between 16 and 64 years old.
Don’t have a job.
Have residence or domicile in Lombardy.
Not having previously activated a path of active employment policies (GOL or DUL dowry).
It is preferable to have a basic knowledge of the Italian language.
Basic program
Be able to introduce yourself, talk about yourself, describe your interests and express simple opinions.
Essential grammatical structures (verb essere, present simple , possessive adjectives, imperatives, past simple…).
Everyday vocabulary (numbers, routine actions, adjectives, days of the week and months, etc.).
Expressing ability ( can/can’t) , actions in progress ( present continuous ) and moods.
Able to understand short oral and written texts by summarizing their content.
Intermediate program
English on the phone and for the back office .
Formal and informal English.
Present perfect , future, conditionals, indirect speech, modal verbs.
Preparation for the language interview.
English in the Salesian world in team work dynamics.
