We start with the basics: knowing drinks and foods, using machinery, preparing recipes and learning the specific terminology and tools of the trade. We also provide essential workplace safety knowledge to operate responsibly.
There is no shortage of insights into customer communication, a fundamental skill for offering a quality service.
The practical part focuses on techniques for preparing snacks and drinks, the correct use of machinery and strategies for managing the business in the best possible way: from organizing the working day to managing supplies and budgets. A mix of theory and practice to learn in a complete and concrete way.

Particular attention to the service phases makes this course complete and suitable for anyone who wants to work as a barista, bartender or barman in the most diverse accommodation facilities, from cafes to hotels to pubs and discos.

Requirements

This course is funded through the active labor market policies program Workers’ Employability Guarantee (GOL).

To access this free course you must:

Be between 16 and 64 years old.
Don’t have a job.
Have residence or domicile in Lombardy.
Not having previously activated an active labor market policy path (GOL Program).
Knowledge of the Italian language.
Skills in managing public relations.
